One of the consequences of spending the majority of my almost 5 decades in the
product development arena of our automotive industry is to look at life with the gimlet
eye of the mathematically oriented engineer. While utilizing root cause analysis on
relationship issues with your significant other frequently provides an unexpected
payback, sometimes explosive, other areas of life are more forgiving.
In an effort to share this wisdom, I have created:
THE RATIO / NAL OBSERVER
Ratio/nal is a new word constructed from rational and ratio. Rational is defined as
behavior consistent with reason and logic, or in the best interest of a group or individual.
Similarly, irrational behavior is defined as actions inconsistent with logic or reason and
damaging to the group or individual.
Ratio is defined as relation in degree or number between two similar things.
RATIONAL + RATIO = RATIO / NAL
